Studio Setup

Sign up and create your account

Get your studio started on Bookjor by creating an account, setting your brand details, and inviting your first staff members.

1

Create your account

Head to the Bookjor registration page and enter your first name, last name, email address, password, and a handle. The handle becomes your studio subdomain.

After submitting the form, you are logged in and taken straight to your dashboard.

Tip Use a studio email address that multiple staff members can access, such as [email protected].

2

Set up your account profile

During registration you will select your default language, timezone, and currency. These settings affect how schedules and prices display to your customers and cannot be changed later without contacting support.

After registration, you can upload your studio logo and favicon from Settings > General so the booking experience feels like your brand.

3

Add your first location

A location in Bookjor represents a physical studio address. Enter the location name and street address. You can add multiple locations later if you run more than one studio.

Each location gets its own room inventory and schedule, so customers always book into the right place.

Tip Even if you only have one studio now, setting up the location correctly from the start makes expansion much easier later.

4

Add your first staff members

Go to the Staff page in the sidebar and click Add Staff. Fill in their first name, last name, display name, email address, and a temporary password. Choose a role: Admin or Staff.

Admins can manage classes, customers, locations, and resources. Staff members can view schedules and mark attendance but cannot create or delete classes and locations.

Tip The display name is what customers see on the booking portal. Use the instructor's professional name, such as "Coach Maya" or "Tom R.", rather than their legal first name.

5

Connect Stripe for payments

Navigate to Settings > Payments and connect your Stripe account. If you do not have one yet, the onboarding flow will guide you through creating it.

Once connected, Bookjor can process customer payments, handle refunds, and deposit payouts directly to your bank account.

Tip Stripe Connect verification can take 1-2 business days. Start this step early so you are ready to accept bookings.

6

Preview your customer booking portal

Before going live, open your public booking URL and test the experience as a customer would see it. Check that your logo, class listings, and pricing all look correct.

Share the link with a few trusted customers or staff members for feedback. Small adjustments to descriptions and images make a big difference in first impressions.
